The Met Office has said there may also be some damage to a few buildings and structures from lightning strikes.
Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
There may also be spray and sudden flooding which could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures. Power cuts might also occur during the thunderstorm.
