Climbing, archery and circus skills will also entertain the crowds at this year’s Hollybank Family Fun Day.

Hide AdManager James Herbert, who is also heading up the team, said: “We are all looking forward to getting soaking wet, while we wade through foam and stumble over the large inflatables. It will be a bit of fun and certainly all for a great cause.”
There will also be an inflatable slide and climbing wall, and younger children can have their faces painted or pretend to be a builder, riot police officer or firefighter on the “tools for fun” stall.
The West Yorkshire Police Dog Team will perform at the event, which will take place at the Hollybank grounds, on Far Common Road, in Mirfield.
Hollybank’s artists will show off some of their work at an art tent, and there will be a Second Chance clothing stall.

“This year’s event is bigger than ever and we are sure you will have a fun-packed great family day out.
“This year we’re promised a heatwave which will be a great contrast to last year when we went ahead despite ducks swimming on our parking field and shivering contestants wrapped in blankets.”
The event will take place from 11am until 5.30pm.
