Over the past month, we’ve given readers the chance to show their appreciation for their favourite hairdresser and/or beauty salon by nominating them for the Salon of the Year 2014.

We asked you tell us which salons in the district had proved time and again that they were a cut above the rest, and could help their clients to look their very best.

You’ve been getting in touch by post, text and email to tell us who you would like to see in the running for the title of Salon of the Year.

Next week we’ll be revealing which salons have been nominated – and, most importantly, asking you to vote for your favourite.
