Tonie Wray said: “I had a beauty view of the lightning from Thornhill looking over Dewsbury/Mirfield.”

Julia Hopkins Hall said: “I watched it from my window in Batley but never heard it...”

Vicky Thompson said: “I live near Dewsbury and the flashes at one point were only a few seconds in between but weird cos no rain or thunder just loads of lightning pretty though.”
