Kerry, 28, of Thornhill Lees will donate her hair to cancer charity Children with Cancer – who will then make the hair into a wig for a child battling the disease.

Her aunt Beverley Wood took on the task of cutting the tresses.

Kerry, along with family and friends, also raised more than £200 and counting for the charity. She said: “I’m a bit cold now – but everybody’s saying how brave I’ve been.”
