Video: Hollywood moment for Educating Yorkshire’s Mushy
A slice of Hollywood came to Thornhill Community Academy when a movie producer brought his Oscar to school.
The tear-jerking final episode of Educating Yorkshire saw assistant headteacher Matthew Burton help Musharaf Asghar overcame his stammer in a with techniques inspired by The King’s Speech.
And watching along with millions of viewers was Gareth Unwin, a producer of the four times Oscar winner, who came to the Academy to meet Mushy, Mr Burton and students on Wednesday.
