The show promises to catch up with some of the best-loved characters from the Channel 4 series, including the year 11s, ‘who are missing Thornhill more than they would ever have imagined,’ and all the favourite teaching staff.

Educating Yorkshire at Christmas is on Channel 4 at 9pm on Thursday.
