The water supply across the WF12/13 area is back on, Yorkshire Water have said.
Fours schools in Savile Town and Thornhill Lees closed today as low water pressure affected the area.
Pentland Infant and Nursery School, Savile Town, closed for most of the day due to a broken boiler.
Headfield Junior School and Thornhill Lees Infant and Nursery School, Thornhill Lees, both closed at 1.15pm due to no water supply.
Diamond Wood Community Academy in Ravensthorpe also closed after lunchtime.
Residents in Lees Hall Road and Scout Hill also reported having no water.
A Yorkshire Water spokesperson the problem was down to “one or two technical issues at our reservoir in Dewsbury which have affected water supply to customers in the area today.”
