Update: Police “increasingly concerned” for missing man

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the wellbeing of a missing man.

Colin Haddlesey, 62, was last seen at his home in Fisher Way, Heckmondwike, on Thursday 12 September at 8am.

He is thought to have been heard leaving the house at 10.40am.

Mr Haddlesey is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build and with long, wavy greying hair. He speaks with a Yorkshire accent and is know by the nickname Airwolf.

He often wears glasses and was last seen wearing a dark-coloured horizontal striped jumper, grey trousers and a light-coloured jacket.

Det Insp Mark Truelove, of Kirklees CID, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Mr Haddlesey’s wellbeing and ask that anyone who sees him contacts the police immediately.”

Officers are currently looking for him.
