UPDATE: Murder arrest in Estonia

Ms Ondzule’s body was found in a flat in Oddfellows Street, Mirfield, by police last Tuesday night.

A post-mortem examination confirmed that the 36-year-old Latvian national had been strangled. Police had identified a male suspect who was thought to have fled the country.

The first pictures of Ms Ondzule have now been released by police. Her body was found after police were called out over concerns for her welfare.

A police spokesman said: “The Crown Prosecution Service in West Yorkshire is now liaising with the authorities in Estonia as enquiries continue.”
