Update: Motorcyclist dies after being hit by car in Dewsbury
A motorcyclist has died after being hit by a car in Dewsbury.
Police were called to Thornhill Road at 12.37pm today (Saturday) after a motorbike was hit by a white Volkswagen.
A spokesman said the man riding the motorbike had died as the result of serious head injuries.
The man driving the car has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing death by dangerous driving.
