Kirklees Council has announced the following school closures:
Birstall Community Primary School - closed
Boothroyd Junior and Infant School - closed
Carlton Junior and Infant School opens at 10am
Castle Hall Academy - partially closed
Gomersal Primary School - closed
Headlands School - open from noon but no school dinners
Lydgate School - open at 10am
Park Road School - open at 10.30am
Ravensthorpe Infant and Nursery School - partially closed
Savile Town Infant and Nursery School - partially closed
Thornhill Community Science College - closed
Westmoor Junior School - partially closed
