Two taken to hospital after crash
Firefighters were called to the incident involving an Audi and a Fiat Punto, at around 8.45am today (Thursday).
A 21-year-old woman was freed from the Fiat Punto in the fetal position using a spinal board. She is believed to have suffered neck injuries and was taken to hospital.

Hide AdA 32-year-old man from the other car was also taken to hospital complaining of neck injuries.
Watch commander Richard Carr from Dewsbury Fire Station said: “We were guided by the paramedics, and the lady was successfully extricated using what we call ‘plan A’ i.e in the fetal position with an extrication board, but if that had not been possible, we would have had to cut the roof off.”
