Trio of twins launch new buses at Crow Nest Park

A TRIO of twins had park visitors seeing double this week when they helped a bus company welcome the latest additions to its fleet.

The stunt in Dewsbury’s Crow Nest Park saw the trio take on the roles of bus drivers and passengers of the new double deck buses.

It also marked the start of Arriva’s Lovely Doubly campaign during which pocket timetables and money-off vouchers will be sent out to 30,000 homes.

Arriva Yorkshire managing director Nigel Featham said: “This year we’re investing over £12m in new vehicles in Yorkshire. We’re really proud to be able to offer our customers an improved level of service.

“We hope our Lovely Doubly campaign will encourage more residents to leave the car at home and jump on board the bus.”

The new double deck buses will be used on the 126 and 127 Dewsbury to Wakefield service which passes through Earlsheaton, Chickenley, Ossett and Horbury.
