Trio in court accused of stealing cars worth £95k

Three men have appeared at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court in Halifax on charges of burglary and taking three cars with a combined value of £95,000.

Jordan Fogarty, 18, of Oxford Road, Cleckheaton; Daniel Harrison, 19, of Bradford Road, Liversedge, and Louis Taylor-Broadfield, 20, of Briarmains Road, Batley, are accused of being involved with the alleged incident in Woodhouse Lane, Brighouse.

Each man has been charged with two offences of burglary dwelling and theft, and two offences of theft of a motor vehicle.

The three men, who did not enter a plea, were given conditional bail.

They will next appear at Bradford Crown Court on May 30.
