Tree fall causes traffic disruptions in Mirfield
Police and fire service were called out to a fallen tree in Hopton Hall Lane this week.
The tree fell onto the roof of a house opposite, causing an arch above the road which restricted traffic.
Fire crews from Mirfield were sent out to assist police at 5.30pm yesterday (Tuesday) to assist with the incident. It was cleared by 5.45pm.
A spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said this was one of many incidents in the high winds this week.
