Travellers set up camp at Dewsbury school

A spokesman for Kirklees Council confirmed the travellers arrived at the fields belonging to Westborough High School yesterday (Thursday).

It is believed they were previously camped at a retail park on Wilton Street.

The council spokesman said: “Steps are being taken to seek a possession order from the courts.”
