Police make arrests during suspected drugs deal in Kirklees

Officers from the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing team in an unmarked vehicle spotted the pictured car on December 9.

Police believe it was in the midst of what was believed to be a drugs deal.

The car was promptly stopped and both occupants arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply after further drugs were located.

A spokesperson for the unit said as a result their house's were also searched, the car once again seized and a quantity of drugs recovered.
