The Vauxhall Corsa was initially sighted on Common Side, Batley, by officers from the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing team on January 31.

However, when the driver was questioned by officers they became abusive towards them.

A spokesperson for the NPT said: “The driver found out the hard way that being abusive to our officers and refusing to provide your details will only end up with you in the back of a police car with uncomfortable, shiny bracelets.
