Time to make a start on your entries
Organisers said the number of applications for the 50 stalls available at the August 18 event was the highest yet.
It meant some tough decision for committee members who faced the task of deciding who deserved a pitch.

Hide AdChairwoman Karen Bullivant said: “Every year the show continues to become more popular and so attracts more people wanting stalls, but there is now nowhere near enough space on the main show field to meet demand.”
But more pitches were made available this year by breaking up larger pitches into several smaller ones.
Mrs Bullivant said the committee aimed to get a good mix of stalls and tried to vary the line-up each year so that everyone eventually got a stall.
“The problem is that many organisations see the show as a major fundraising event of their year – but we have no other option,” she added.
