Time is running out for primary school places

Kirklees Council has advised that children born September 1, 2010-August 31, 2011, must be registered to start school this September.

The deadline is 11.59pm on Thursday January 15 and there will be options to select three school preferences.

A spokeswoman for the council said a late application could make it more difficult for parents to get their children into their school of choice.
