Time capsule buried for school’s 50th
Staff, parents and pupils both past and present at Thornhill Community Academy submerged newsletters, photographs, letters, work, a canteen menu, uniform, a planner and a copy of the school’s values on Wednesday afternoon.
It is hoped the collection – to be unearthed from the school’s Peace Garden in another 50 years – will help pupils in the 2060s to know what school life is like today.
