A man from Wakefield and a man from Batley have been charged with conspiring to import heroin and they are due to appear before magistrates in Manchester today.

It follows the discovery of almost 15kg of heroin, which was found in luggage that had come off a flight from Pakistan in April 2014. It had a potential street value of £2 million.

A Batley woman was also arrested but has been bailed pending further enquiries.
