THREE people were injured by blundering thieves who targeted the wrong house in a robbery.

A gang of five men attacked a woman and two men after they called at a home in Millers Croft, Birstall, claiming to be delivering a pizza.

The woman, a 47-year-old, answered a knock at the door, and told what she thought was a takeaway delivery man they had not ordered food.

A second man then forced the door open and threw the woman to the ground.

Three other suspects entered the house and began searching the rooms while asking the occupants for drugs.

Once the gang realised it was in the wrong house it left, taking jewellery and cash.
