They could have been Ebony and Ivory - Mum’s delight at black and white twins.
The pair, Leo and Hope, were born by caesarean within minutes of each other at Dewsbury and District Hospital.
While Hope’s light skin, blue eyes and fair hair have come from her father, her brother’s dark skin and eyes and thick hair resemble those of his Grenadian mum’s.

Hide AdBatley hairdresser Shirley, 21, said: “Throughout the pregnancy I’d joked about the babies being black and white, I even said to my friends that if one was black and one was white I’d call them Ebony and Ivory. When they were born though, I realised it would be cruel to actually call them that!”
