Terrible cook teams up with TV’s top baker
Baking heartthrob Paul Hollywood gave Salma Karolia a culinary masterclass - after she was nominated for being a terrible cook.
The self-confessed kitchen nightmare was put forward by her sister, Aysha, to star in Waitrose TV’s Get Baking with Paul Hollywood series.
The pair travelled to London in March, and were taught how to cook three delicious deserts by The Great British Bake Off star.
Salma, who owns Salma’s Hair & Beauty Academy in Bradford Road, said: “I am a complete disaster in the kitchen but Paul was great.
“All I could think was I can’t set the kitchen alight.”
