Teenagers robbed near Dewsbury Market

A group of teenagers were headbutted and punched in a street robbery in Dewsbury Town Centre yesterday (Thursday).

The three victims - two men aged 18 and 19 and a woman aged 18 - were on Foundry Street near the market when they were approached by two teenage boys at around 4.20pm.

No weapons were used but the victims were all assaulted and money was taken. Some of the market traders witnessed the robbery.

The suspects are both described as white and 17 years old.

The first was of skinny build and 5 foot 5 inches tall. The second was of large build and 5 foot 3 inches tall.
