Teenage girl filmed being sexually assaulted in Ravensthorpe, court told

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl was filmed being subjected to a series of sexual attacks in Ravensthorpe, a court heard.

Five men are standing trial at Leeds Crown Court for eight offences which allegedly took place on one night in 2010.

The court heard how the girl was drunk when she went to the home of Mohammed Ali Rehman in Sackville Street on May 11.

Sharon Beattie, prosecuting, said there she was raped by Rehman and sexually assaulted by Saqib Hussain, 31.

Rehman then carried the girl, because she was too drunk to walk, to the Faisar Younas’s home in Myrtle Road.

There she was subjected to further attacks by Rehman, his brother Hassan, Younas and another man Wahid Hussain. Saqib Hussain was also present.

Members of the group then took the girl to another address, where Rehman told her she could leave if she performed sexual acts.

Mrs Beattie said footage of the incidents, shown to jurors yesterday and today, showed the girl asking to be let go and Rehman refusing.

She was found by police the next day at Rehman’s house in Sackville Street.

When interviewed by police all five men denied that any sexual activity had taken place.

Mohammed Rehman and Younas now admit having sex with the girl, but say that it was consensual and that they did not know how young she was, Mrs Beattie said.
