Sweet treats at Purlwell’s winter fair
The community came together at Purlwell Infant and Nursery School’s winter fair.
Parents, pupils and staff enjoyed a chocolate fountain, various stalls, games and crafts at the festive event, organised by parent group the Pals of Purlwell.
More than £700 was raised, which will go towards new markings and play equipment for the school’s play ground.
Acting head teacher Carol Hawley said: “It was a really, really, special afternoon.
“I have never worked in a place where parents and the community are so supportive. They are absolutely fantastic.”
