Star of The Chase puts Mirfield punters to the test
His name strikes fear into even the hardiest of television quiz hopefuls.
Mark ‘the Beast’ Labbett, from ITV’s The Chase, tested the wits of pub quizzers at a Mirfield pub. Mark hosted the new quiz at the Shoulder of Mutton in Lee Green, which allows competitors to choose their answers by touch pad. The main quiz and a smaller last man standing quiz were followed by a few rounds of ‘Beat the Beast’, where some customers went head-to-head against Mark.
The Beast, of course, came out on top.
