Solicitors celebrate new start

The solicitors firm in Cleckheaton was transformed when it was taken over by entrepreneur Rajinder Puri in December 2011.

Its three offices were combined into a central base in Albion Street, more staff were brought on board and the firm expanded into private family law, such as will writing and divorce.

Mr Puri said: “Winning a Reporter Series Business Award would demonstrate the hard work that the staff have put in over the last year to turn the firm around and to develop the new business model which we are improving on a day-to-day basis.”

Rotherys, Cornwells and Hewisons Solicitors is entered in the SME of the Year and New Business of the Year categories.

Winners will be chosen by an independent panel of judges and announced at the Reporter Series Business Awards at Dewsbury Town Hall on October 24.
