Snow disruption: North Kirklees traffic, travel, school closures and forecast latest

The Met Office said people in the region should be aware of the continued risk of disruption to transport due to ice and snow.

Some bus services serving North Kirklees were disrupted yesterday, but West Yorkshire Metro said there were currently no issues.

More than 20 schools in Kirklees also closed yesterday, with many sending pupils home at lunchtime.

No closures have been announced by the council so far today.
