Police are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old boy suffered a broken foot after being hit by a car in Dewsbury.
The boy was hit by a white Audi A6 while on a zebra crossing in Heckmondwike Road near its junction with Beckett Lane shortly after 4.20pm on Tuesday 25 November.
He was taken to Dewsbury and District Hospital where he was treated for a broken foot, bruising to his side and a minor head injury.
There was a queue of traffic in the Dewsbury-bound carriageway which had left a gap either side of the crossing and was prevented from moving on due to a car further up the road waiting to turn right.
The Heckmondwike-bound lane was moving freely.
Police are keen to speak to anyone in this queue of traffic who witnessed any part of the incident.
