Rugby trophy so close

England will hope to lift the Rugby League World Cup when they co-host the event in the Autumn.
And fans got tantalisingly close to the trophy when MP Simon Reevell arranged for the trophy to visit Shaw Cross Sharks and Dewsbury Moor rugby league clubs.

Money raised from the events will go towards helping injured players Ryan Glynn and Connor Squires.

Mr Reevell said: “I am grateful to the Rugby League World Cup organisers for allowing the trophy to come to Dewsbury. It was well received and a number of juniors took the opportunity to have their photo taken with the trophy.”
