Rings and cash stolen from Mirfield jewellers

Three masked men stole rings and cash from a Mirfield jewellers.

The burglary happened at KS Fox Jewellers in Huddersfield Road at around 4.15pm on Thursday 17.

One of the suspects went up to the counter, taking cash from the till and four rings.

The rings included a sapphire ring, a tsavorite garnet ring and an 18 carat gold three-stone ruby and diamond ring.

All three men then left the store, heading down Newgate along the canal towpath towards Huddersfield.

They were described as wearing balaclavas, gloves and casual sportswear that included grey or light hooded tops. All were of medium height and build.

Two staff members were in the store at the time but were not harmed.
