Mohamed Hans started up the business and now his son Yusuf is at the helm.

The decision to close Ravensthorpe Service Station for so long was not taken lightly.

Yusuf said: “We have always taken great pride in serving the local community and knew that the old site was looking tired and lacking some facilities.

”We wanted our forecourt and shop to be the very best and capable of serving our community for at least the next 20 years.

“A full knock down and rebuild was the only way.

Yusuf said: “Everyone is welcome. “Whether you are buying groceries, want fuel with or just fancy a chat, we are here for you.
