Rams fans can spend Christmas at the club

Dewsbury Rams will open its doors for the first time on Christmas Day to serve supporters’ lunch.

Entertainment will also be on the menu at the event, which is part of the club’s campaign to generate more income.

General manager Angie Burkinshaw said: “We are serving lunch at a competitive price on Christmas Day and hopefully it will get people to socialise with each other.”

The Rams also plan to launch a quiz night with pub grub on the first Thursday of every month starting in February 2014.

The lunch, which includes different menu options costs £35 per person or £12.50 for under 10s.
