PPG is bringing the colour back to the Batley and Birstall community
The firm has given its backing to local voluntary group Birstall in Bloom to support a project to erect a welcome sign at Birstall Smithies crossroads.
The ‘Welcome to Birstall’ sign, situated just a stone’s throw from the PPG headquarters, features both the PPG and BIB logos.

The architectural coatings manufacturer has a reputation for pitching in on local community projects as part of its longstanding Community Engagement scheme, which encourages employees to volunteer at events organised by PPG.
PPG hopes that the initiatives by Birstall in Bloom and Batley Bulldogs brighten up the local area for the enjoyment of all.
Joanna Cooney, Birstall in Bloom’s organiser said: “We are very grateful for PPG’s contribution to our group’s latest project.
