Power tools were stolen from a van in Cleckheaton last week.

A Citroen Relay was broken into in Links Avenue off Hunsworth Lane between 5.45pm on Tuesday April 1 and 7.25am the next day.

Nine different tools including drills, jigsaws and other items were stolen.

PC Chris Birkenshaw, of Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The individuals responsible for this offence may have attempted to sell these items locally.

“They include a ‘Trend’ black worktop jig, a 110V ‘Freud’ router in grey with red writing, 3.5 KW transformer in yellow, 18V XRP ‘Dewalt’ battery drills in yellow, 240V Bosch hammer drill in green, ‘Dewalt’ jigsaw, ‘Bosch’ Jigsaw, ‘Paslope’ nail gun, ‘Makita’ rip saw (Circular saw 190mm blade) in blue.

“I would ask that anyone approached with these items contact the police on the non-emergency number 101.”
