MP praises Liversedge Football Club during debate in House of Commons
Batley and Spen MP Kim Leadbeater has congratulated Liversedge Football Club on becoming Northern Premier League East champions during a debate in the House of Commons.
Ms Leadbeater was speaking in support of the fan-led review of football governance chaired by Conservative MP Tracey Crouch.
Ms Leadbeater said she was “a very happy Huddersfield Town fan following our latest victory” and went on to congratulate Liversedge FC, saying: “They are a fine example of a community club doing lots of good things in my constituency.”
