Police swoop after reports of threats made with a gun
Police are appealing for information following an incident on Sunday evening in Birstall where a male was reportedly seen with a gun.
Officers attended the scene on Briarmains Road around 8pm, where a male claimed he had been verbally threatened and had what is believed to be a handgun pointed at him.
No shots were fired, and the male victim was not injured.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is on police bail.
Enquiries are ongoing.
