Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured after a road traffic collision on the A6107 Bradley Road, near Cooper Bridge on Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened at 5.10pm on October 16 on Bradley Road at the junction with Upper Quarry Road.

A blue coloured Renault Megane was travelling along Bradley Road and was turning right onto Upper Quarry Road when it and the motorbike - an Aprilia Dorsoduru 750cc model - were in collision.

PC Alan Wilson said: “I would appeal for any witnesses to the incident to contact myself in the Western Area Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support Team on 101.”
