Police confirm body found is missing Cleckheaton woman
Police have confirmed that the body found on Friday afternoon is that of missing Cleckheaton woman Tracey Bamford.
Officers were called to land near Mann Dam bridge at about 3.09pm after a member of the public found the body of an adult woman.
Det Insp Mark Truelove of Kirklees CID said: “Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.”
A full post mortem will take place but at this stage there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
