Police appeal after pensioner falls victim to fraudster

Police have released an efit of a man they want to speak to after an elderly lady was allegedly the victim of fraud.

The incident happened between 10am and noon on Monday May 2 when a man approached the elderly victim at her home address in the Dewsbury Moor area.

He offered to buy her gold jewellery from her but she declined.

The man went into the house and removed a quantity of jewellery which he then left with. He also left a quantity of money in the property.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured are asked to contact PC Clyde Sinclair from the Dewsbury Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101.
