Police appeal after assault Cleckheaton pub
Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault at The George Pub in Cleckheaton which left a 20-year-old woman with facial injuries and head pain.
The attacker punched the victim during the assault, which happened inside and outisde the pub, on Parkside, around 2am on May 26 Bank Holiday Monday.
A 21-year-old-woman has been arrested and released on bail.
PC Chris Birkenshaw, of Spen and Batley Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “This assault occurred in the early hours of a Bank Holiday Monday when there were a number of people out and about.
“We would urge anyone who believes they witnessed any part of this assault to call Spen and Batley NPT on 101.”
