Neelam decided to raise money for IDAS, after the coronavirus crisis prematurely ended her university semester and she returned to her parent's home in Badsworth, Pontefract.

Neelam said: "I study Architecture at Newcastle University and after the unexpected end to the year, I was left feeling creatively drained, with a lot of spare time and no motivation to do anything.
"I realized very quickly how lucky I am to be quarantined with my loving family, a garden, and my own space to work and create. I know that there are so many people trapped in homes that they can no longer feel safe in.
"I looked into and decided to raise money for the Yorkshire based charity, Independent Domestic Abuse Service. It's a cause close to home and to my heart. Making and selling the earrings gives me the motivation to have fun and be creative for an amazing charity that's needed now more than ever."
