Kumon Y’all volunteers take part in clean-up
Girls from Dewsbury community group Kumon Y’All organised a garden clean-up outside their local community centre.
The girls volunteered to give up their time and used rakes, hoes and shovels to restore the outdoor area. Sufia Syed 16, who volunteered for the project, said: “It showed how much we could achieve by working together.” Zainab Bhamji, another volunteer, aged 17, said: “Seeing the progress we were making made me realise just how much we can do as a team.”
