The new-look was unveiled yesterday (Thursday, May 27) after completion of a 12-week programme of works to enhance and improve the store.
The 9,000 sq ft store supports 34 local jobs and runs on 100 per cent renewable electricity. It includes: customer car parking, a free ATM, Post Office services, Costa Coffee express, bakery, photo booth and rug doctor alongside an extensive range of fresh, healthy products, meal ideas, award-winning wines, ready meals and pizzas, free-from, vegan and plant-based products, Fairtrade and everyday essentials.
The store has also added self-service check-outs and online Click & Collect through its own online shop – coop.co.uk/shop – for added ease and convenience.
John Marsh, Mirfield Co-op store manager, said: “We are extremely proud to be re-launching a new-look Co-op store.
"It has a fantastic new look, and we have worked to develop the range, choice, products and services locally that will create a really compelling offer to serve our community."
