Firm’s brilliant boost for baby bank

Dewsbury-based business Kiddies Kingdom has made a generous donation to Rainbow Baby Bank in Heckmondwike. The donation, which was arranged by Bespoke Beds of Oakwood, includes 25 cot mattresses and 25 cotbed mattresses which will be distributed to local families in need.

Tracy Brabin MP said: “This donation of cot mattresses will help so many families at a time when many are struggling to make ends meet due to Covid-19.”

Rainbow Baby Bank volunteer Angela Surtees said “We are really thankful for this donation from Kiddies Kingdom and Bespoke Beds of Oakwood.

“So many families are going through financial difficulty and the support we provide is more vital than ever.

“Cot mattresses are unique in that they cannot be re-used so have to be bought brand new, which is why this donation will be a big help for us and so many local people.”
