Batley Bulldogs consolidated their spot in the Championship play-off positions with victory over Sheffield Eagles last night (Wednesday).

Tries from Luke Hooley, Tom Gilmore, Johnny Campbell and a brace from Dane Manning helped the Bulldogs to a 32-22 win at the Fox's Biscuits Stadium.

Victory moves Batley up to third in the table, ahead of Sunday's crucial clash with fourth placed Halifax Panthers.
